Contrapuntal masterpieces of sacred music for from three to six voices by the leading lights of Franco-Flemish music in the fifteenth and sixteenth certuries: Du Fay, Compère, Obrecht, Isaac, Agricola, Josquin, Gombert, Cipriano, Lassus, Wert. The program is designed as a complement to the exhibition at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC, of drawings by Flemish artists from Bosch to Bloemaert. Pomerium will present this program again on October 29 at the National Gallery of Art.
