On February 7, Flanders House proudly hosted a screening of Michaël R. Roskam’s feature film Bullhead (Rundskop) at the Museum of the Moving Image in New York City. Bullhead will represent Belgium at the Oscars as one of the five films nominated for the Best Foreign-Language Academy Award.

This exclusive event, was followed by a Q&A with director Michaël R. Roskam and lead actor Matthias Schoenaerts and a reception.

Bullhead received its international première at the Berlin International Film Festival, and went on touring at international fests around the globe. The film already won over 25 awards at AFI Fest LA, Palm Springs, Austin, Montréal, Vancouver, Beaune, Les Arcs, Moscow, Motovun, and Manresa. Earlier on this year, “Variety” selected Roskam as one of its ’10 Directors to Watch’.
