Tim’s life is turned upside down when his sister, Lisa, commits suicide. His parents are like zombies going through the motions of day-to-day life, and everyone he knows is shocked and wants to know how he’s is doing, which sometimes gets on his nerves. For Tim, the question, why did she do it? persists relentlessly, and he is left to deal with the anger, pain and grief that remain. This moving story sensitively illustrates how Tim slowly comes to terms with the death of his sister. It is a meditation on both loss and life.
